Honestly I had never considered this before, but now I feel lucky to have seen so many waterfalls in the PNW and around the world. To my mind, Wizard Falls on the Metolius River is the craziest waterfall in Oregon, akin to the under the sea waterfalls. Thanks for this!

I KNOW!!!! This is my life, every day. I'm like, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THINGS?" He just shrugs, like it should be obvious. Process of elimination, Greenland seemed to him the most likely place where such a thing would happen. Scary!

Not many waterfalls around here in the flat land of eastern England so it’s a bit of armchair travel for me to see these images and read about the different kinds of waterfalls. Earth is amazing.
