We’ll paint a delightfully abstract winter night sky. This is an incredibly easy, low-pressure art project that you basically can’t mess up. Also, these kind of loose, playful paintings made great holiday cards or gift tags.

Supplies:
Watercolor paper on a block, or taped down to a board or table. Be sure the paper is for watercolor, not mixed media or drawing paper.
Big paintbrushes like a mop brush or just any large brush
Lots of paper towels or cloths
Big jar of water
White, yellow, gold/silver, and/or light blue paint pens, markers, or maybe a tube of white gouache or white watercolor…
