This was great fun to draw. Painters like to say that a painting “just fell off the brush” when it flows easily and comes out just right. I would say this one fell off the pen. It’s not perfect, of course, and I’m still on the fence about adding color, and I think one side or the other could use some shading to suggest where the light is hitting—but it was delightful to do and turned out exactly how I wanted it to.
