Let’s paint some larger trees

Welcome back! This is part of a little series on painting trees, which I hope will also give you some ideas about painting landscapes and greenery overall. Be sure to check the archive if you’d like to catch up on the last few weeks.

First I’ll show you some of my illustrations from The Tree Collectors and talk about the different techniques I used. You can get different effects by using different brushes, working wet-into-wet or letting each layer dry, and by adding some colored pencil or marker.
