Now that you have some colors worked out—or even if you don’t—let’s work on adding detail to tiny trees and working them into your sketches. This is going to be similar to this lesson on drawing tiny people, in that I’ll encourage you to come up with your own style for drawing trees in a way that feels quick and natural to you, much like your own handwriting.
Let’s draw some trees with the greens we mixed—and find a style
Just like we did with tiny figures, I’m going to use Pinterest to share some styles to inspire you. Here’s a board I created of many artists’ approaches to drawing trees. Look for something that appeals to you and try it out!
