Let me paint something for you!
I’m happy to share a new feature of this here newsletter, in which I will draw or paint something for you, make it into a lesson for everyone, and then send you the art.
There are a couple ways this can happen:
One is that you can subscribe at the “Founding Members” level, which I call Patron of the Arts, and I’ll do yours right away, as I’m doing for Melissa today. I tend to underpromise and overdeliver on these—it was supposed to be a 4x6 postcard, and instead Melissa’s getting two 6x8-ish paintings, one of which I’m going to show to you today. Can’t always promise that’s going to happen, but that is my tendency.
I can either work from your photos or from a general idea you give me. Here’s how to upgrade your subscription if this sounds like fun to you.
Or—stay right here at your current subscriber level, and from time to time I’ll announce that I’m going to pick somebody at random to do this with. That’ll just happen whenever I’ve got a little extra time.
