Today we’re going to talk about brushstrokes and the brushes that make them. If you’ve never taken an in-depth watercolor course, this will bring you up to speed.
Just be sure you have some paper that specifically says that it’s for watercolor. My favorite is Blick hot press paper, but for doing experiments and messing around, the Canson watercolor pads are inexpensive and work just fine.
