Art #61: Let's Draw the Holidays

Hello everyone!

Before Thanksgiving, I said that we’d spend the month of December drawing whatever the holidays, or the winter season, means to you. I asked you to send me pictures, which I would draw, film a little tutorial, and then mail the drawing to whoever sent me the photo.

I have many photos to work with, but there’s still time to send one to me! Either hit reply to this email and attach your photo, or upload it right here in our chat (which is basically like a private Facebook group only it lives here on Substack instead.)

Here’s our first one! I’ll have more than one for you next time, but for starters, this one from Cathy lets you draw food and a mug, so it’s all good drawing practice. Here’s her photo if you want to give it a try:
