Art 109: The Art of the Everyday
Plus, let's do a winter/holiday artist residency!
Coming Up: Be the Artist in Residence of the Holidays
I’ve just finished a big chunk of work on my next book, which means I have time to look up and notice what’s going on around me again. And guess what? It’s almost Thanksgiving! How did that happen?
The holidays go by so fast, if you don’t slow down and look around once in a while, you’ll miss them. So I’m inviting all of you to slow down for a few minutes here and there and notice what you notice about winter and/or the holidays—whatever you celebrate! (and/or ignore. and/or dread. you do you.)
Let’s make some holiday/winter-related drawings to remember all the things we love (or hate!) about this time of year.
More next week on this! Meanwhile, start taking some pictures to draw from!
