A cocktail and a paperback. Sounds like summer!
Greetings from the glorious California coast.
Dear friends,
I'm writing to you on a spectacularly warm and sunny California day. I live way up on the Pacific coast, almost all the way to Oregon, and we don't see early April afternoons like this very often. It's got me thinking of summer.
If it's almost summer, it's almost paperback season!
Girl Waits with Gun comes out in paperback on May 3, but you can pre-order a copy everywhere books are sold.
To celebrate, I'll be on the road in May, possibly coming to a city near you.
And...we're giving so much stuff away! There's a Goodreads contest ending tomorrow. In the months to come, we'll give away free books, cocktail sets, and other remarkable treasures. You might even get an advance copy of Lady Cop Makes Trouble, coming in September 2016. Follow along on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for details.
Oh, and about that cocktail.
I am such a fan of a Campari and soda on a summer day. It's such a light and civilized drink. I like just an ounce or two over ice in a tall glass, topped with club soda and a squeeze of lemon or orange juice. Cheers!
