Virginia and DC, I am coming to visit you!
I'm on the road, and I would love to see your friendly face.
Dear friends,
The newest Kopp Sisters novel, Kopp Sisters on the March, drops on September 17, which means that I'm on the road all month (and next month) doing...well, a bit of what you see in this video. The best part about all this travel is seeing YOU! So please--if you can make it to any of my events, or if you have friends in any of these cities, help me spread the word!
I'm particularly excited about three events in Virginia and DC, where this book take place. I sent the Kopps (fictionally, they did not really do this) to a National Service School in Chevy Chase, MD, in the final months before the US entered WWI. I also explored the story of the real-life Beulah Binford, a teenager who found herself at the center of a scandal in her hometown of Richmond, VA. To tell her story, I dug into the history of the sancioned red light district that operated in Richmond in the 1910s.
So! Here are the events! Please do come out and see me if you're in the area.
September 20 in Richmond, VA
September 21 in Arlington, VA
September 22 in Washington, DC
And that's not all! I'll be all over the country in September and October.
Go here to see all upcoming book tour events, and tell your friends!
Cheers,
Amy
