Changes Afoot in 2018--Won't You Join Me?

Dear friends of this list,

If you're reading this email, it's because we've been in touch about speaking engagements. I've probably emailed you sporadically over the years to let you know when I'm out on tour and possibly coming to a city near you.

This year, I'm doing something different--and if you'd like to stay in touch, you can subscribe here.  If you don't want to stay in touch, do nothing! This list is going away this afternoon.

Over the last year, I've found myself spending less time on the Internet and more time with the people, places, and things that are meaningful to me. I'm doing more creative work than ever before: I'm writing a novel every year, I'm learning to draw and paint, and I'm traveling to see the world and to connect with my friends, family, and readers.

That's why I'm writing to you now. If you'd like to stay in touch, the best way to do it is to subscribe to my newly re-tooled monthly newsletter, which is filled with everything that matters most to me. You might get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, an exclusive giveaway just for subscribers, a book or podcast recommendation, a cocktail recipe, a work of art. I might send you an advance copy of a new book, or an invitation to hang out in person next time I’m visiting your hometown.

And I will never share your email address with anybody. This is just between us.
